Dr. Joyce McGee

Families who choose our school recognize the lasting value of an individualized, hands-on Montessori education.

We go beyond surface learning to cultivate a deep understanding of the ‘why’ behind it. In an environment where curiosity is honored and discovery is intrinsic, learning becomes its own reward—unlocking a lasting sense of purpose, connection, and possibility within each child.

Meet our Leadership team
Mr. Brette Rothfield

We consider the key components of our mission – curiosity, independence/interdependence, and the love of learning.

I take a step back to see myself as a steward, a torchbearer of that mission for the generations of students who walk through these halls, I am in awe of the privilege that it is to be of service to our families in that way. We create the environment for the magic of Montessori to take shape in the world.

Our expectation of every child is simply this: to be the best that they can be, and to be good to each other and to the world.

Every child who walks into our classroom is unique, and we love each and every one of them.

Mrs. Tirse

My daughter graduated from Alexander as president of the student council.

She started middle school not knowing a single person — and she carried that Alexander confidence right through the door with her. I credit this school for who she is today.

Roxy Cánovas Rosen

My husband is an alumnus, so choosing Alexander felt like a natural decision for our family.

Both of our children are now above grade level in every subject. My five-year-old is reading first-grade books. But more than academics, we've built lifelong friendships here — for our children and for us as parents.

What stands out about Alexander Montessori is the diversity of the community.

Families from all ethnic backgrounds, different religions, different walks of life — all together. Children need to be prepared for the world, and that preparation starts here, in this enriching, diverse community.
