After 34 remarkable years at Alexander Montessori School, we celebrated the retirement of our beloved Ms. Anne Becton, whose dedication, leadership, and love for our school have touched generations of students, families, and colleagues. Ms. Becton's connection to Alexander is especially meaningful. An Alexander alumna herself, Class of 1976, she returned to the school in 1993, bringing with her a passion for education and a deep understanding of the values that make our community so special. Throughout her years as Elementary Campus Administrator and overseeing our Learning Lab, Ms. Becton has been a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and support. Her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to each child's growth have made a lasting difference in countless lives. In a beautiful and emotional farewell, Ms. Becton took one final walk through the halls of our Elementary Campus, surrounded by the cheers and applause of our students. It was a heartfelt tribute to an extraordinary career and a touching reflection of the love and appreciation our Alexander community holds for her. What better way to celebrate a lifetime devoted to children than to be surrounded by the very students who make our school so special? For Ms. Becton, Alexander has always been more than a school. It has been part of her own story, from her childhood as a student to her years of service as an educator and administrator, and as a proud parent of two Alexander alumni. Her legacy lives on in the students she has inspired, the families she has supported, the colleagues she has mentored, and the community she has helped shape. As she begins this well-deserved new chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her 34 years of extraordinary service. While her daily presence will be deeply missed, the impact she has made will remain an enduring part of Alexander Montessori School.
