There's something magical about watching students who once raced across our playgrounds return as confident young adults preparing to take on the world. This month, Alexander Montessori had the joy of hosting our Alumni Reunion for the graduating class of 2019 — now the proud High School graduating Class of 2026.The celebration was held in the Gym at the Maria Montessori Center (MMC), a fitting setting to bring our alumni back together under one roof. Alumni and their families filled the MMC once again, transforming the space into a place of laughter, hugs, and heartfelt conversations. It was a beautiful reminder that while our students may grow up and move on, Alexander Montessori always remains home.Throughout the afternoon, our alumni shared stories of their high school journeys and the exciting paths ahead — from college acceptances and career aspirations to passions discovered along the way. Listening to them speak about their futures with such clarity and confidence reaffirmed everything we believe about the lasting impact of a Montessori foundation. The curiosity, independence, and love of learning they cultivated here have clearly carried them far.Perhaps the most touching part of the day was witnessing friendships that have endured since their final days at Alexander. Years apart, different schools, different cities — and yet the bonds formed in our classrooms remain unbroken. Watching former classmates reunite as if no time had passed at all spoke volumes about the community we work to nurture every single day. As always, it was a loving afternoon spent with old friends, dear families, and treasured memories.To the Class of 2019 — congratulations on this remarkable milestone, and thank you for coming home.
