AMS Students Show Gratitude and Learn about Thanksgiving

During the month of November, the children learned about the first Thanksgiving and the traditions that we celebrate.

In Room 7 and 8, the children enjoyed making butter from scratch by shaking heavy cream in a small container.  It takes patience and a lot of shaking!!!  Our Lower School students shared a presentation of the First Thanksgiving, while the Preschoolers made Gratitude Trees to show all of the things for which they are thankful!  As for the Middle School Prep students, they participated in our annual Turkey Combine where events included football kicking, long jump, an agility course, a 50-yard sprint, and an accuracy throw.  Everyone had a blast!
