We were truly delighted to celebrate the creativity, imagination, and hard work of our students at this year’s Elementary Art Show. Under the guidance of Mrs. Kannar, students engaged in a rich, interdisciplinary art curriculum that connected artistic expression with storytelling, history, science, and culture.
The exhibition featured an impressive collection of student work, including quilt-making inspired by storytelling, vibrant stained glass creations, imaginative collages, weaving projects, and cyanotypes that introduced students to one of the earliest forms of photography. Students also explored the process of dyeing fibers, learning how cultures around the world have used natural materials and traditional techniques to create textiles throughout history.
Through these experiences, students developed artistic skills while deepening their understanding of diverse cultures, creative problem-solving, and self-expression. The Art Show beautifully reflected a year filled with exploration, discovery, and meaningful learning through the arts.
A special thank you to our MSP student docents, who thoughtfully guided families through the exhibition and shared insights into the projects, techniques, and inspirations behind the artwork. Their enthusiasm and knowledge helped bring the year's artistic journey to life.
Congratulations to all of our talented artists for a wonderful showcase of creativity and learning. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and grateful to Mrs. Kannar for inspiring a year filled with art, discovery, and imagination.
