Fifth Graders in Cultural Music Class practiced performing the "Star Wars Main Theme" (John Williams, 1977) with the parachute.  In this activity, they learn musical form (or musical composition), different coordinated movements (physical activity), and air resistance (science), making this lesson an example of an integrated curriculum, as any good Montessori lesson should be.
