On Friday, February 1st, our Fifth Grade students had their annual rocket launch followed by a school-wide International Potluck Supper. Everyone had a great time on the field as they counted down the blast-off of each rocket while Mr. McGhee introduced the "astronauts" responsible for the rockets. The students were grouped into pairs to create rockets before the launch date. It was exciting to see how different wings and decorations changed the rockets' flight patterns!
