Our Preschoolers enjoyed themselves on November 22nd, as they celebrated Thanksgiving throughout each of our Campuses. They dressed up, sang songs, and ate a delicious lunch! They made such cute turkeys, pilgrims, Native Americans, and more!
Alexander Montessori Preschoolers had the opportunity to learn about giving right before Thanksgiving. The children and their families collected non-perishable foods and delivered them to churches near each Campus.
We are proud to announce that this month's iPad for Soldiers campaign raised $1,522, which will allow us to buy approximately five iPads for Soldiers! We held various student activities in honor of Veterans Day.
New sod is being installed at our Red Road Campus for the children to be able to enjoy an expanded playground space.
On November 13th, we held our Annual Alumni Forum and Elementary Orientation. This is one of our favorite events for our Alexander Montessori families every year. Parents of current Kindergarteners get the chance to sit in on a panel of Alexander alumni who give us valuable insight on how Alexander Montessori prepared them for middle school, high school, and even the college application process!
The Florida Grand Opera visited our Alexander Montessori Elementary Campus. We learned about operas and how the performers train their voices.
We're wild for learning at Alexander Montessori School! Our Fourth and Fifth Grade students finished learning about life science.
In early November, many of our Fifth Graders went on a Florida adventure with Mrs. Bello, the Middle School Prep Science Teacher! The children got to explore the ecosystems, communities, populations, and organisms found here in South Florida.
