Our Kindergarten Graduates were celebrated with a drive-by car parade! Their Teachers and Teacher Assistants gathered to acknowledge their big day.
On June 2nd, we celebrated our Fifth Graders with a Graduation Parade! Each of our Graduates and their loved ones paraded past their Teachers and Administrators as they received their diplomas.
This year, our amazing Language Arts and Language Enrichment Teachers joined forces to create a Virtual Coffee House and Poetry Oration event. The Middle School Prep students were able to recite two poems for this amazing event: A poem of their choice and an original poem written by the student.
On May 26th, we spent the day living in the Middle Ages at Alexander Montessori School! Our students took on roles in all facets of the Kingdom, from King and Queen to Royal Artist to Furrier, Blacksmith, Gypsy, and more. Each student was introduced by their Faire name and title and shared a bit about what they do.
As Graduation got closer, the Alexander Montessori School Fifth Grade Graduates received a special surprise from the Administration!
Peach Door had a couple of cool lessons in May. The students did a bug, insect, and arthropod study, where they learned how to make their own spider webs. Then they did a lesson on animal homes and habitats, and were asked to pretend they were birds and make their own nests.
Just because the ISSF STAR Student Award Luncheon was canceled, that does not mean that the Alexander Montessori School award winners were not celebrated!
Alexander students, Beck and Ian, brought the World Vision Global 6K Walk for Water cause to Mr. McGhee's attention three years ago. Ever since then, the three have each been steadfast, passionate champions — both for the cause and with one another!
On May 15th, the 5th Grade students joined together with Mrs. Kahn for the annual Friday Night Prime Time and were ready for a celebratory night of silent reading, fun activities, scavenger hunts, freeze dancing, scary stories, and a movie!
During this year's Theater Awards at Palmer Trinity School, Alexander Alumnus, Owen (Class of 2013) was awarded the Senior Book Award which is given to a Senior who excels in all aspects of their academic and artistic endeavors and is a committed leader in the theatrical arts on and off campus.
